I'm a fan of Morriseau's work. This is one of her older works and I loved and became immediately invested in the characters. Some of the storyline was predictable but when it comes to certain things like race relations in the Deep South in the 50s... Things were..predictable.

I just want to consume as much of her work as possible because Morriseau does incredible things on the page and the stage.
