While not normally reading poetry, I thought I would give this a try and I was surprised by the emotion and strength in these words and in this love and in almost the world that is built by these poems. High Recommendation.

I finished this anthology in record time; I just couldn't put it down. When I was finished, I had to ask myself, "Am I one of the ghosts?" McVey's poetry is intimate, dangerous, and cunning. These poems dissolve the barriers between historical periods... and between lovers.
