I enjoyed 'Lusaka Punk and Other Stories' as I do most short story anthologies - the exposure to different writing styles that I may not ordinarily read, ...and may or may not enjoy! Its all part of the fun of the short story. However, I particularly enjoyed 'Lusaka Punk and Other Stories' as an anthology of short stories written by Africans. It provides ample evidence that you cannot put contemporary African writing in a box - there is a unique perspective that is refreshing to hear, but the topics, approaches, styles are universal and diverse.
