This book does a great job of taking a large concept and making it accessible for kids. Looking forward to using this in my solar system storytime coming up.

Very informative and interesting book. It is probably not a picture book my kids would want to read over and over because it is nonfiction, but I learned a lot just with one read-through. If your child likes numbers, this would be interesting to them.

This is, as you may be able to guess from the title, a book about numbers. Big numbers. It's a great way to start introducing kids to perspective and the relationship between things. It's also great for those kids who ask a thousand strange questions--just because they can.

Full disclosure: I forgot how to even read some of these numbers out loud. I knew what they meant, but reading them to a kid? W-e-l -l.

I'd probably have another book of random questions and answers on hand (My mom still has The Big Book of Questions from when I was a kid, even though it's outdated now. My brother was a "why"er.) because I'm sure "How many _____" will be inspired by this adorable book.
