This book took a little while to get me hooked, but once it did, I couldn’t put it down.
I find I always judge a mystery by how quickly I put together what was happening. Lucy does a great job of throwing readers off the scent while leaving enough breadcrumbs to make them feel smart and “in the know” Throughout. While some details were off, I was able to predict the general idea of the ending before it was revealed. Overall this book had good twists, but not as shocking as some of her other work.

Meh. It was ok. Had high hopes for it which may have been too high. I find that Lucy Foley repeats herself in her writing a lot and over-explains things.
Also, Jess hooking up with Theo was not necessary, like at all.

This is such a good mystery. I love Lucy Foley's style of writing multi-perspective books as it makes you question what you really know about the characters. She is great at leading you off the scent of what actually happened to Ben, and the mystery is written perfectly.
