Little confused as to why she and the others was places in the trials. It didn't seem like an initiation thing that everyone had to go through to stay.
Loved Rebel but she only survived the trials because her mates kept saving her, not because she was a badass.

This story and the characters were so good, but I needed more. More book, backstory, world building. This felt like a serial. That being said, the bones of this story are so incredibly good.

“I liked to pretend I was violence and sharp edges and ruthlessness, and I was—but it wasn’t all I was. I was softness and love and loyalty, too.”

This book was hilarious. I absolutely adored the female main character, Rebel. She is too much. Just such a great character.

The setting reminded me a bit of an academy and a paranormal prison mix. Not a lot of characters were introduced but it was easy to differentiate between them all. The love interests were very memorable as well, it’s hard to pick a favorite but I’m pretty sure I have my top two. I think. For now.

The book ended with a little bit of a cliffhanger, more like a big question/mystery to be solved with the next book(s). This book was a bit more of a introduction to the characters and a little bit of background knowledge. I think the next book will be even better than this one, even if it’s just Rebel talking nonsense I would devour that book as well.

Killer read

Loved it and rebel's take no crap attitude. All her mates are devilishly sweet psychos including herself I mean what's love without a little bit of twisted bloodshed and death to spice it up in the romance department
