It's a funny and captivate romance, with extra spice that just make it better,if you can handle it. I love the descriptions and the plot equally and i cant wait for the next one. Its not a five stars for me, because i got confused at the start about the world building.

Hilarious romp of a book. Definitely in the zany beach read category, but I didn’t expect it to be a super detailed read from the reviews I saw of it. The sex scenes were all very detailed about consent, which I appreciated, and I liked the side characters. I would have liked to know a little bit more about the world, as it didn’t seem very deep or detailed.

I’m so very confused to why this book has such a low rating. It was sweet, funny and very spicy, which people usually like right?
A lot of reviews said that the writing style was horrible and that the main character was stupid, which yeah, but that’s just her personality and let’s give her a break she grew up in a hippie cult and is super horny like 60% of the story, which was honestly very relatable.
While the writing style wasn’t something out of this world I liked the conversations between the characters and how surprisingly dark and yet witty they were.
Did I mention the book was spicy? It is and believe me when I say it was hot.
But the reason I’m giving it 5 stars is because I think it deserves better recognition and rating as this book is seriously super sweet and funny. Also the sex was hot.
I guess this books is one of those where you either like it or don’t.

Was it good? Not really. But I laughed so much reading this so I don’t really care. I enjoyed it.

  • Loveable characters? No
  • Diverse cast of characters? No
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated
This is the last time I take a book recommendation from Tiktok. The best way I can describe this is like a 2007 Quizilla fanfic; no substance, nothing enjoyable, and the writing style leaves much to be desired. The characters are one dimensional and insufferable. Arienna is stupid and annoying; and Richard is just horrendous as a character. Even the supposed hook at the end is not enough to make me read any more. I slogged through this book, but I'm not going to bother with the rest.

A fast and magical read who deserves more hype!

This is my third reread and It just gets getting funnier each time and I love the angst and the I-don’t-care-about-you-but-I’m-obsessed-with-you trope here!

I usually don’t read books without humor in it so whenever I feel like laughing, I definitely reread this one because of how funny the FMC acts. Brownies forever!

-the premise: intriguing (E2L is my fave trope)
-the execution: yes they do try to kill each other...the relationship though? eh. (lots of sex, not much relationship development)
-the spice: um, did no one else in the reviews mention this is bdsm? maybe i just missed it? good for y'all but that just ain't my thing & i was Surprised it was in the book (it felt v out of the blue & then encompassed the entire rest of the book).

i finished this just bc i hate leaving books unfinished. not really my thing, though.

I wanted so badly to like this book based on TikToks from the author, but as I'm reading it, the FMC was SO annoying that by 37% I couldn't stand her anymore and I was ready to stab the MMC through the book
