A mixed bag.
A lot of the rules changes for Ravenloft reflect a "DM vs players" relationship I'm glad I no longer use. The "new" spells are pretty uninspired for a professional product, IMO. But then the books on secret societies and curses both add loads of lore and very adaptable ideas. The final chapter is more or less just Tarot 101 applied to D&D, but it serves. S
teven Fabian's art is sexy, spooky, and a delight! Overall a niche box for die-hard Ravenloft fans.
