Book 6 of the Whispering Willow series, and it’s just as spellbinding as the rest of the series. The story starts with Lily facing her fears, while she sorts out her feelings, and tries to take back the control of her life, which ever since the terrible incident that happened to her, has long been swaddled in dread and dismay. And if this wasn’t trouble enough, the wicked witch is back, and she has an accomplice too.

I really like how the title of this story reflects both, the origin of Lily who is actually the princess from the fairy tale of Rumpelstiltskin, and also the significant happenings of this story which too takes place in a barn. There are a lot of sweet, and bitter sweet emotions in this story and a whole lot of feel-good wholesomeness. Love how strong the character of Lily turned out, and how caring and sweet both the characters of Thomas and Nate emerge. Also, Snow and Lily find some time to do a little sisterly catch up. Lily spends a lot of time, pondering over her feelings, and tries to find a place between conflict, confusion, and contentment. And just when she made a choice and thought everything was going to settle right, things take an awry turn.

And again the end of this book had me in a shock, it’s really commendable how so much intrigue and mystery can be filled in just a bunch of words at the end of this book. Really looking forward to reading the next book.
