OK, I had a hard time getting into this book. But seeing as it's due on Wednesday, I sat down on Monday night and really made myself focus on it. And I read the whole book in one sitting. It was amazing.

THIS BOOK IS PHENOMENAL. It’s raw, heart wrenching, and so very powerful. I read this for my summer assignment for ap English. I have heard of it before, have seen it, and planned to read it just not in high school I guess. I had to read 70-90 pages each day to get it done but no regrets. Tara westover is such a strong person and a beautiful writer. All her descriptions and thoughts were so personal yet she found the courage to share it with the world. Her unusual and emotional journey and I wanted to just give her a hug all throughout. She has taught me many things one being not to take education for granted and that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. Along with that she taught me the importance of self love and doing what’s best for you and not your family or society at large. I’m so proud of her and hopefully I get to meet her someday but if not, she is a real role model for everyone and deserves all her attention and ❤️.
