i think i might have done a disservice to myself by making this my first book read by Agatha Christie. it felt like a nancy drew book and NOT in a good way. that being said, it wasn’t terrible but it also felt very repetitive and i didn’t like the ending. oops

This was my first Agatha Christie and I thought it was ok, didn't love it.
I think I probably would have enjoyed it more if I had read it physically and not audibly.

Listened to this on audiobook.
Ms. Christie really said “lives are more important than the chase of aesthetics” let’s sit on that

What I would usually expect from Agatha Christie novels. It's mainly all about learning all the different characters (suspects) and their histories before the drama really starts to pick up. Not as "engaging" as some of her other books, I would say the middle is pretty slow.
