Repetitive, yet still interesting, mostly because I grew up in NYC during the period that the author is writing about. Not in one of the projects but I was certainly aware of them, and I hung out a little bit in the Lower East Side and Tompkins Square Park before it got cleaned up and gentrified.

Some of the pages didnt need to be in there. The time POV changes so quick in such an unpleasent way. Im confused through and through. The two cops are like highschool bullies "We did it fast, mean, and clean. Brakes,door, grab, beat, frisk, shove and laugh" really why would you laugh?. The POV are all over the place. Its this story then it chnages to that story and so on and fourth. And i dont even wanna mention the classic male talk.
