Nothing happens until like the last 3 chapters. Poppy and Casteel are so cringey I was getting second hand embarrassment. What hurts the most is that I acc really liked the first book and this series had SO MUCH POTENTIAL…sigh.

Every 2 pages there is mention of her violent stabbing tendencies MY GOSH. We get it she’s badass
