I was reading the original Nexus in 1981 while working at a comic book store, but I would start to work at Capital--the owners had called their comic book warehouse Capital City Comics, too dumb to realize that Madison WI was a CAPITOL city--by 1984 and had to reverse my view of this series when I discovered that Mike Baron was an Ayn Rand quoting crytpo-fascist who was only capable of smug, moralizing, childish revenge fantasies.
