A good start
I'm not sure if this author has ever published before, but if not, this is a good first book! The story is cool, but there's a lot of background missing. It feels like a lot was packed in that wasn't necessary for the main plot, and the end is extremely rushed. The last chapter introduced a dozen new characters, plot points, history, and didn't tie up all the things that had happened in all the previous chapters. There are also a lot of editing errors, but they're pretty minor. Overall, I'd say 3-3.5 stars, not a bad first book, not a bad story, but I'd normally expect to read this on a free site rather than purchase it. I look forward to seeing what Neya writes next!
