I swear every single time I read a Maddox novel I think to myself: "This is my favorite! Definitely my favorite!". This one is by far my favorite! No, really. I love that this novel explains why love can't exist without the crazy. You need THE CRAZY. All of the unexpected crazy that you have to go through to get to where you are supposed to be. Otherwise it's unrealistic and boring. I find that out of all of the women in the Maddox brother's lives, I relate the most to Falyn. Her no filter persona really spiced this book up. Thanks for this one Jamie! It was a great novel. Ready for the next and final book.

This book started out really good. I even cried during the playground scene. However it took a downward spiral during the last half. It was an ok book, but lacked the chemistry I felt during Beautiful Disaster.

This book I would actually give 2.5 stars. I couldn't really decide if I liked it or not...there were so many things I didn't like about Falyn, the main character, and the book in general. I read this book because I felt committed to this series since I have great memories from the time I read Beautiful Disaster, if that makes any sense. I might read the next one...or I might not. But this one wasn't the best in the series, that I know for sure.

First off....It's the Maddox men...of course you have to read it. I will always love Travis Maddox and he will always be #1 in my heart ....but as we get to know all the other Maddox men I loved Thomas a close 2nd....then....I met Taylor. Taylor is one of the TWINS. He of course has the Maddox swagger...but you see the sincerity and sweetness in him. He has the quiet persistence and you cannot help but love him. Falyn is so guarded because of all she has been through in her past. Secrects could tear them apart from the fragile relationship they started but things happen and you see the persistence and love push through. A must read for any Maddox Fan!!

I liked the beginning (it's always nice to read how the Maddox Brothers meet their love of life and when they finally realise that's her for them), the middle was kind of sticky (too much back and forth and back again, In my opinion the focus of this story wasn't right. I personally think the important topics have been cut short and the "bla bla" was more dominant) and I loved the ending (I really do love those happy endings). My favorite parts are always those where the stories cross.

The thing is, after reading #3 and #4 (well, actually I did it the other way around) I am kind of affraid what will happen to all of them at Beautiful Funeral :(
