{My Thoughts} – This book started out a little different. Abby is insistent on going through the magic mirror, but Jonah no longer remembers it or the fairy tales in which they had visited. If you’d like to know more info about that, you will need to read book six.

Abby and Jonah get to go into one of my favorite fairy tales in this book. I have always had such a huge interest in beauty in the beast. Mainly because Beauty is a bookworm and loves books the same as I do. This story also helps to show that people aren’t always as they first appear and once you get to know someone you will understand that.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I know that any child that loves fairy tale retellings will enjoy it as well. My daughter devoured this books in about a month. Sometimes it isn’t easy to get her to read something but she read all seven and she really enjoyed them. I love it when you come across books that she is easily able to enjoy.

This book has a side lesson to it like all the others do. In this one it helps to teach you why jealousy isn’t a good emotion. I know all to often how easy it is for a child to get jealous of another child. Given the time of year it is right now it makes since that children will get really jealous of each other. I think this might be a good book for girls to read, to help remind them that they don’t need to be jealous and that when you accept yourself and your situation you will see that there is plenty about you that makes you special.

description
I actually liked this one and the little twist at the end of this story of who the real beauty was in this story was a great twist and for the last two or three of these books, I'm liking how these fairytale stories have become lessons and morals for Abby to learn from and to help her change her attitude and learn valuable lessons. Like this one which was about jealousy and the harm just one emotion such as this can cause pain and grief but sadness in oneself if they have it.

One part I nearly lost it with Jonah was when a kingdom in this one actually had his favorite 'food' or condiment which was KETCHUP! *laughing* like seriously, it made me laugh and I nearly lost it since I know how much Jonah LOOOOVES his ketchup since book 1 it seems but acts like a total 7 year old on top of that with it. The end to this one was like what the frick!? Now I'm wanting to finish this series for sure and I'm loving them even more as each book has gone on and they're ones I'd totally love to have and collect one day and read to my little niece who'll be four months tomorrow (May of 2022) and even to my future kids when I get married and have kids one day. These are so much fun and I can't wait for now until my little niece gets older and I can read these to her!

For any mom who's looking for good, fun, clean stories for their kids, these are it and perfect even for little boys who will totally relate to Jonah and vice versa with girls and Abby. These are seriously so much fun and I'm absolutely loving them!

- I thought this was going to be about Sleeping Beauty, but we already had that fairy tale, and she is holding a rose on the cover. Duh!

- This was a really cute story. I'm always delightfully surprised with these books.

- Ha! I love the twist towards the end!

- I love Beauty and Mr. Beast. Their characters are really fun and very unconventional.

- The ending is so great! I love that these stories play on the original fairy tale, but the characters get a happy endings in very different ways.

- I like that we get little hints about Maryrose with each book. I wish the hints were tad bigger though! The curiosity is killing me!

- For middle grade, these are pretty good, and I'm excited for my daughter to read them.

This one surprised me a lot with how the plot went. It ended differently than I thought though. Not sure I like how the fairy tale changed.

Cute addition to the series, thought it was fun and interesting how being a 'beast' might be a negative for some and a positive for others. Love this series and can't wait to see where it goes. It also addresses jealousy and how actions have consequences.
