Series: The Sandman Vol. 11
Rating: 2 stars - It was ok
This volume contains seven stories, one for each of the Endless siblings. All are illustrated by a different artist as well.
So this volume was just okay in my opinion. I didn’t love most of the art styles featured in this one. I didn’t like the art styles for the stories, Dream, Despair, or Delirium. Despair’s story featured mixed media that was unusual and hard to decipher. Also the text didn’t really present a clear story. Delirium’s story also made little sense and while the artwork was better I still didn’t love it.
The stories in this volume felt incomplete, which was disappointing after reading all the previous volumes that told a full story. I feel like it would have been better if they had just stopped the series at volume 10 with the end of Morpheus’s story.
