I adore Charles Dickens writing!! And this is no exception. A familiar story to most, but reading it in the words of the original story is so special! I love Dickens' characters and the transformation of Ebenezer! So heart-warming and tender. I want to read it at every Christmas and give copies to everyone I know.
Remember to keep Christmas well, in your heart, all year long. And God bless us, every one!

Very good. I listened to the audiobook version of the story and it made it come alive. This story is an essential part of Christmas and this version just makes it. Recommend every Christmas whatever format you read it in.

I reread A Christmas Carol, as I do every year, but I just don’t feel like reading any of the other stories.

I only read A Christmas Carol from this book as that’s why I bought it, but I may read the others in time because how much I enjoyed it! A great Christmas time read, with a great lesson. Even though I’m familiar with this story, I had never read it and am glad I did. It’s nice, short, and sweet and still emphasizes the theme of kindness and joy, as well as the consequences of not adhering to those. It’s written both detailed and simply, so it’s easy to follow along while also printing a clear picture. It’s nothing fancy or groundbreaking, but it is a wonderful classic perfect for Christmas time. I’m so happy I finally got to read the original story this year, I’ll likely read it again next Christmas!

What can I say about this Christmas classic that hasn't been said before? Nothing, that what. I love this book so much. It's one of my all time favorites I read every year and/or watch one of the many movies. It's a wonderful tale of a grumpy old man who hates everything except his money and business and is visited by his late business partner and the 3 Christmas ghosts. During his visits we get to learn about Scrooge's life as the ghosts try and get him to change his ways. Honestly, I feel everyone should read this at least once in their life.
