A nice little book about Greek mythology. Most of the stories are quite short, which I liked. Evslin Chose several to expand (the ‘Demigods’ section), and while they were nice, I wish he would have chosen others.
My favorite story was the Athene one and how spiders came to be!

Great informative book! Super quick and to-the-point segments for each god/goddess/myth/etc. A very fun and easy way to learn about the basics of Greek Mythology!

Every once in a while I like revisiting stories with Greek heroes, if only to remember what they’re really like. This collection is short and focuses mainly on the main gods, though it does leave out some key players and their stories.
I enjoyed some of the familiar legends, heard some new ones that I didn’t know, and the writing was good. The book is quick and offers more escapism than “historical” accuracy.
Still, if you’re a lover of the myths and are looking for a quick reference to inspire you, this is a great book to pick up!

I read this for school but it was still a decent book. I'd recommend it too someone whose just beginning to learn about mythology.

Easy to read and gives a basic over view of some of the myths. Great for anyone looking for a starting place for reading about Greek Mythology.
