This was a quick book that was surprisingly funny and entertaining about an art thief and his girlfriend (Breitwieser + anne-catherine kleinklaus), who from 1994-2001 stole about 2 billion dollars worth of artwork from museums in Europe. Breitwieser is eventually arrested when he becomes careless and cocky with his thefts, and after he gets caught his mother destroys much of the artwork he has stolen and stored in his home (in his mother's house's attic).

i guess the one thing that i feel a bit incredulous about is the reporting? I almost wish that the author had written this book as a fiction, because I find it hard to believe that he could have truly known everything that was written in the book. Like how could an author from 2020s possibly know what went on in a conversation in a carride between breitwieser and his girlfriend in the 90s???
