Idk, I wasn't feeling this one. It's still super cute and wholesome ala Jana Aston, but I wouldn't feel bad if Chloe and Boyd didn't end up together, ya know? Maybe part of it was because Boyd's introduction in book 1 was quite awkward. But I was excited for an FBI agent book anyways, though it didn't deliver...

Boyd was Sophie from book 1's half-brother and was an FBI agent in cyber security and also a board director in his family candy business. Chloe was book 2 Everly's childhood best friend and was a second-grade teacher. Chloe was the only one between Sophie and Everly to be single so she was out there on dating apps trying to find a boyfriend. It was nice that the guys from online dating here weren't all portrayed badly. There was a nice dude but Chloe was just socially awkward in general that the date didn't go well.

Anyway, Chloe was on a date with this one guy to the stadium to see some sports game. He got her a really nice seat but then went off with the excuse of buying them cheesesteak. Chloe was approached by stadium security and brought to an interrogation room where she met Boyd. Boyd didn't have to interrogate her but I guess he wanted to, so he did lmao. Chloe stumbled through the interview and went home with the both of them not knowing who the other really was. Also, it's really nice that we got Boyd's POV this time, instead of a single mmc epilogue pov like the previous books.

They stumbled upon each other again when Sophie just gave birth to her daughter in the hospital. Chloe pretended not to know him so Everly wouldn't get on her ass about getting arrested on a date. Boyd played along but requested a favor when they met again at a Starbucks. He asked her to be his pretend date for his cousin's wedding so he could get to know Chloe without her getting nervous. Chloe agreed and Boyd took her dress shopping in NY as "practice".

Wedding day rolled around and Boyd sprung the fact that it's going to take a whole flight to get to the wedding so Chloe couldn't back out. They went on his sweet private jet to the wedding and Boyd got them a single-bed room. I think they had sex here, can't remember. What I remembered was that their physical interactions were always unnatural. Like there's no progression and just bam, suddenly they're kissing, bam suddenly they're having sex. Like there's no tension. But I do think the storytelling flow was better in this book though compared to the previous two books in the series.

After the wedding, they went out on a few more "non-dates". Boyd didn't want to name it as dates in case Chloe started overthinking. After a talk with Chloe's girl pals, she realized that they were going on dates this whole time and Boyd was sorta lying to her. She confronted him and Boyd confessed. She freaked out and hide a bit before coming to the realization that she should say fuck u to her anxiety and be with him.

Also, Chloe was a huge crime show fan and she was such a badge bunny x.x

I still really liked their banter but idk, I'm not that invested in their relationship. Boyd was really cute though, he even did her laundry and stuff. The whole premise was basically Boyd becoming her boyfriend without Chloe even realizing it because she/also him didn't want to slap a label on it lmao.

I wished Boyd being an FBI agent carried more weight to the story. A missed potential

Well I think the author saved the best until last with this series, this one has been my favourite! I loved Chloe and Boyd, I also think that Boyd is my favourite out of all of the guys in the series. Maybe because we get an insight into his thoughts, as well as Chloe's, in this one too. Loved this book, and the whole series, from start to finish, it had a mixture of eroticism, romance and comedy. What's not to love?!

Jana Aston just made my day. This story is so freaking cute that I giggled—actually giggled like a schoolgirl—my way through the first chapter of Trust. That led to full-out laughing out loud and swooning throughout the rest of the book. In the end, I wound up with sore cheeks from smiling so much.

Chloe is absolutely adorkable. Her numerous dating disasters are cringe-worthy and hysterical. She takes the prize as the most socially awkward, anxiety-ridden, yet lovable character in recent memory. Like, we’re total besties now.

Could Boyd be any more perfect? The correct answer is no. No, he could not. Sexy and clever, Boyd just gets Chloe. He accepts her quirks, is strategic in his wooing of her, and is patiently persistent. Chloe is a little freaky in the bedroom, and Boyd is more than happy to accommodate her curiosity. I want to marry him. Him and his FBI-issued handcuffs of course.

Chloe’s girlfriends are a hoot. Trust is only the second book I’ve read in the Wrong series, but each book stands alone. I really want to go back read the first two books though—[b:Wrong|26224667|Wrong (Wrong, #1)|Jana Aston|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1443007627s/26224667.jpg|46209108] and [b:Right|29503237|Right (Wrong, #2)|Jana Aston|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1458753616s/29503237.jpg|49791021]—so I can get more of this colorful group of women.

Trust is a pleasure to read from beginning to end, and it’s especially wonderful if you’re looking for a super fast read. It’s romantic comedy perfection with an entertaining plot, hilariously endearing characters, and some steamy sexy times.

This was cute and light hearted! A FBI agent is my favourite and Boyd was super sweet with the FMC. I feel like I just wanted more though - it was a bit too short.
