After someone suggested this book I was expecting deep intrigue or groundbreaking twists. Instead it’s a story that meanders and plods along, never getting too thrilling, and never answering the intriguing questions it posits here and there. Was expecting something much more spectacular.

A well written, enjoyable read. The horror elements are well paced and the tension really amps up well to create a sense of unease.
Be prepared to leave with unanswered questions.

ok I really enjoyed this. however. I do not think I understood it even one tiny bit. there is absolutely a key thing here that I am missing and I’ve been putting off writing this review while I try to figure it out.
