I absolutely love these oral plays that I find nowadays. Maybe the stories in this one weren't the best, but the voice acting in all of them was so brilliant it didn't matter. I loved every second of it.

I picked this as a free audible book a while back, decided to give it a listen as I was falling asleep. I liked the quality of the narration and radio show setup, but not all of the stories had a resolution as I would have liked. Would give it 2.5 stars if halved were allowed.

Not one to mess up it's perfect three star rating, this was only...okay. I'm not a horror fan, per se, I find them to either be Too Scary or else just plain upsetting. Frankly, this one erred on the side of upsetting, especially regarding the last two stories.
Pearl Mackie's performance, though...excellent. I love her.

3.5 the audiobook was very good with a full cast of narrators. I think it added to the spooky atmosphere.
Each story was different and I'll say creepy wise, I enjoyed the first one best.

Four short stories inspired by MR James, and updated for a present-day setting. They were also turned into scripted works, so were very similar to radio dramas. Not as good as I'd hoped, but good enough to keep me occupied while doing housework, walking, etc.
