Very interesting and entertaining book about women's cycling, starting in the late 1800s and ending in the 1990s. I have to admit, I was surprised at how popular women's races were, the high regard in which the cyclists were held, the records they broke, and the money they made. A real eye-opener for me. Isabel Best did a very thorough job of investigation and finding relatives to interview. Highly recommended.

An important book looking into the stories of female cyclists throughout the 20th century.
