i had no idea about atalanta being a female hero, she was never mentioned in the percy jackson books and it was an extremely amazing retelling, it's a shame there wasn't any more stories of female heroes in the book
heracle's journey was also a wonderful read i had no idea that he accomplished so much and impacted greek lore like no other
and perseus had to be my favourite hero he literally was so fun to read about
i liked the author's unbiased narration, where he mentioned that not all the heroes were necessarily heroes and were still flawed and were terrible people at times
jason and the argonauts was also a wonderful read since i only knew the gist and not the details of the journey it was extremely enjoyable

The stories are great, but rushed, and as always, I couldn't keep up (and not too bothered) with all the names. Pretty much the same mythology with no significant changes (unlike, say Circe by Miller). I can't say I like the writing: it doesn't bring the epic, the magical and the tragic of Greek mythology.
