This one was pretty good and I appreciated some of the officer personalities that were incorporated into the story. The XO for example is one that I’ve had to interact with in my career. Very challenging and, as with the CO in this story, there isn’t always a happy ending with that personality. Oh and I learned some new vocabulary: adumbrate. :)

It is been a while since I've read a David Poyer book. I really enjoyed reading "The Cruiser".
