I found this book to be not as good as I had hopes for. I really wanted more mystery and more ghosts. To me the Dead detective agency meant ghosts. The story was not as exciting as I thought it would be. I was really hoping for me than what this book gave me. It didn't keep me interested and I had to struggle through it. 2.5 stars. While I enjoyed the story the fact that the very likeable heroine Tori is dead and will
Spoiler be moving on once she has solved her mystery
Spoiler was to me less than satisfying. Also I really engaged with all the characters in this mystery including Tori, her friends Carmon & Abe and the police detective on her case. I was less interested in Seamus and he seemed quite peripheral to the story which is odd considering this is the first book in the series and from what I understand Seamus is likely to the only character that returns. The mystery itself was fine but I guessed quite early on who the secondary viliian was.
