It’s fine I guess. I was hoping for something more narrative like William Grill’s [b:Shackleton's Journey|17675379|Shackleton's Journey|William Grill|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1393447239s/17675379.jpg|24679116], a comparison only heightened by the similarities in illustration style. There were interesting tidbits, but honestly I don’t quite get why this is even a book. I get that this tunnel is interesting and important, but the book didn’t make that clear enough. The illustrations are lovely, but there’s not much else compelling about it.
