Weird. So bizarre. But in a can't-and-won't-stop-reading-it kind of way. Palahniuk lays out all the pieces before you between page 1 and 250. It's only in the last 10 that he grants you the relief of pulling them all together to see the whole picture. Complete fever dream of a novel but different, which is what so many authors strive for and never achieve.

i have multiple thoughts about this book, i’ve finished it and feel like how you do after you’ve come out of the cinema after a really good film but the book? i didn’t enjoy it! i personally find with Chuck Palahnuik books they are very slow, and have amazing endings. With this, it was just… okay? i wouldnt recommend this to anyone but not in a negative way, it was just, cool?
