Probably should have soon but I was trying to push through. This book is way too long for no plot just smut. Books like that should be max 200 pages bot 414 plus another 10 pages of extended epilogue. Some of the scenes were just cringe.

Cooper and Penny. While I loved their banter and the way their friends with benefits relationship came about, I do have some complaints about their relationship. This could definitely be a 'me' thing so take this review with a grain of salt.

While I loved their friendship, I wasn't completely sold on their relationship. Don't get me wrong, he was so fucking sweet and patient with Penny and vice versa. And honestly, their relationship was/is probably the most mature relationship I've read about. When you think a conflict they had would lead to a third act breakup (which can sometimes be annoying as hell especially if it's around miscommunication) it didn't end that way. They talked about their feelings and the issue at hand and handled it like the boss bitches they are. We love mature kings/queens. However, despite all that, I feel like the only thing they really thought about was sex.

I get it, sex is great, don't get me wrong but when they make it their whole personality trait it gets kind of old. Penny was CONSTANTLY wet around him and honestly to be honest, I find that hard to believe. Cooper is sexy af and that dirty mouth of his *sweats* I understand you'd wanna throw your panties his way but just being next to him makes your panties DRENCHED? Girl, maybe a little wet sure, but soaking, doubtful. It really just felt like there was more sex than plot. I understand Cooper wanted to help her with her list which makes sense why there's so much sex but it really got almost overbearing for me and I skimmed through some of the sex scenes. But, other than that this book was great. 4/5 stars one star docked because of the amount of spice which I never thought would be a negative for me, but here we are.

Cooper, again, made me swoon so fucking hard. I really kept thinking "damn why can't my bf be like this?" (sorry babe, love you) And the way he was so patient with Penny was amazing. He really never got frustrated with her when it took her longer to get to where he was at in the relationship and it's so refreshing to read about it. (the bar really is in hell isn't it?) *chefs kiss* When he bought her all those sex toys *screams* we stan a man that isn't afraid to try new sexual things with their partner.

Penny, I love that she was willing to explore her sexuality and what she likes in the bedroom. We love it. She wanted to get her power back after he piece of shit ex ruined sex for her and I'm so glad she found someone that helped her get comfortable with sex again.

God damn it this was TOO good. The spice? The tension? The plot twists? THE SPICE?!

I didn’t enjoy the first book all that much so I wasn’t looking forward to this one but it blew me away. I loved Penny and Cooper’s relationship and the way nothing went as expected. No third act breakup, no disapproving girl dad, it was perfect.
