This book was just OK honestly I almost DNFed multiple times.
The atmosphere was creepy and chilling at times but I feel like a lot of the stories lagged for me. It was interesting to see the way that Andrea L. Rogers carried the line of an indigenous family through multiple centuries of time, but I feel like a lot of the times the purpose got lost and tangled. It didn’t feel like any of the family members had anything in common except for the fact that they were related by blood. Each time a new story started, it felt like the author spent far too much time trying to connect the character to who they were related to which pointless considering the family tree at the beginning of the book.
I liked the way the author explored indigenous folklore and American horror elements but overall, I was not super impressed by this collection of short stories.

I did not finish the book because I didn't enjoy it and it's not my genre of book.
