I can’t believe the series is over, I want to see more of these characters so much, but I know they’ll stick with me for a while.

Finished on March 8th, 2022
It's currently almost 4am and I have just finished reading Any Way The Wind Blows, because I couldn't put the book down anymore. I think I was around page 199 when I started reading tonight and I was just sucked straight into it, wanting to find out what happened next, wanting to find out how the series end.
Honestly, I feel like I could read many more books involving these characters and I'm quite sad to have now come to the ending of the series. It's odd to think that I only started this series, and entered this world, on March 2nd and got so incredibly invested in it that I already finished it. Simon Snow genuinely is one of my absolute favourite characters and I'm going to miss this boy a lot. It was so good to read about his journey, among the journey of the other characters, because I felt like I could relate to him on a lot of different things that he was going through. I'm very glad that Rainbow Rowell decided to touch on these subjects throughout the books, it felt natural, it felt realistic and I'm a lover of realistic writing - even if it breaks my heart, makes my cry or makes me reflect on myself.
I'm very glad that I (finally) decided to pick up the Simon Snow trilogy. I don't regret it one bit - though I might regret staying up until 4am in the morning. But it was worth it. I do wonder, did anyone else feel like the ending left a tiny opening for perhaps another book, or was that just me?
