what looked like a tragic and dark story turned out to be an hilariously dark story. over the course of a few short hours, a group of losely associated friends gets into and out of--and back into--so many scrapes and tight situations, it's astounding! you have to laugh at the worst parts because it would be truly awful to actually be stuck in such a situation.

Okay so a little less then half way through this book, I was not happy with it. I felt there was unneeded cursing and the story was so ridiculous. Then I started to fall in love with its ridiculousness. It is an outrageous story that just makes you want to say wtf, which I think is the point all along.
I liked the fact that it was told in all the different character's point of view, however I felt that when you were reading it was written in a way that it was objective and not subjective to the character. I also liked how it was all in one night and the chapters told you the time that it was occurring.
Overall not a bad book.

Hmm.

I understand what this author was trying to do. I really do. But it just didn't do much for me. The plot was too confusing until around the midway point, and if I'd had something else to read with me, I wouldn't have kept going.

I'm glad I did, certainly, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with an ADD personality like mine.

I didn't even get through the first 20 pages. I just was sick of the language. Ok, I know it's called WTF so maybe I should expect some language, but not on every page. And I am really bugged that this is published as a teen book. Is this book really in school libraries? Do I really have to limit the books I read to 6th grade novels and Christian literature??? To be clear, I have no problem with anyone who wants to read this book. I just don't understand why a movie is rated R for more than 2 uses of the F word, and you have to be 17 to get into a rated R movie. Yet this book is for teens and it is in there plenty.

I feel like I was either mislead by the description of this book, or had expectations that were too high. It was entertaining. Not the adrenaline rush I thought it would be... The character's weren't even described correctly. Reina was very unlikeable. But maybe "The Conscience" wasn't supposed to be. It was also very short. I am sure there are some teenagers out there that would love it though.

It was okay... It was confusing with all the different character perspective changes. I couldn't get into it enough to actually enjoy it as much as I thought I would've. My main problem was all the different changes with persepective and the epilogue. The epilogue to me was just too short. There wasn't much about the characters after the whole book.

WTF was an awesome book. I read the whole thing in one day because once I started it I couldn't put it down. It was so good and I just had to know how everything was going to end.

WTF is told from the point of view of Reina, Jimmy, Byron, Waits, and a little by Cam. There was also some stuff about MC but we didn't read it from her POV. The whole thing happens in one night and it is so crazy. I laughed out loud so many times at all of the impossible situations these teens somehow managed to get themselves into.

The mix of characters in the book was pretty good. There was the jock, the nerd, the know-it-all, the conscientious girl, the dealer, and the crazy party crasher. It was a big group of people that you never would have thought to throw together and surprisingly, it worked. It was also pretty funny, how they all ended up connected on this one crazy night.

I will admit that it wasn't a very realistic situation but that didn't actually bug me like I thought it would. I love being drawn into a book with a world I could never possibly imagine and this was one of them. It was a book that I didn't need to overthink and I kind of just went with it!

Overall, WTF is a great book. It had it's flaws but none of those detracted from the reading experience and so I give it a great rating. I recommend picking up your own copy because it will keep you enthralled from beginning to the very end. =]

Wow. I am not entirely sure what to think of this book, having just finished it. Lerangis sure can write a wild ride, that's a given, though. I was never really sure what was going to happen next, especially given the synopsis of the book here on GR.

I think the only thing that really knocked it down from a 5/5 rating was the fact that it had too many different POVs telling the story for me to keep track of easily. There were 6 POVs, and although they all took place within the same 24 hours, there were times when, for example, one POV was telling part of the story that happened at 12:17am on 18 October, and then the next chapter, the POV would be telling part of the story that happened at 3:30pm on 17 October. So it did get confusing at times.

But overall, really good story, really quick read. It was funny in places, but there was also a little more swearing than I generally am comfortable with. Granted, it's a YA novel and it's also one that deals with relatively tough subject(s), but I still don't really like to read that much swearing. Nowhere near as much as in Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist, though. XD

Definitely would recommend to anyone over the age of 16 who wanted an engaging, quick read, as long as the reader is willing to deal with what this book presents.

2/5.

One of my friends had recommended this to me because I said that I needed a quick read. It was okay, there was nothing really special about it. It was very fast paced. With the information the author stuffed into this book he could have easily written at least one hundred more pages. If you're looking for a quick easy read with a sub par story, then by all means, pick this up. Being that this book is told through 5 people, I found it difficult to keep track of everyone and everything that was taking place. At the beginning of this book, there is a car accident. The amount of trouble that the crash causes is unrealistic as well as what happens after the crash. Most of this book is very unrealistic and it seems even too far out to be relate-able.
