I'm finished with My Big Fat Supernatural : Some of the stories didn't grab me, but overall a fun read. I discovered one new author that I'll be off to read now (Saintcrow) and enjoyed the others - particularly the Jim Butcher one!

I wasn't blown away by this anthology, in fact the only reason I picked it up was to read Stalked by Kelley Armstrong. Her story is first in the book and didn't live up to my expectations which didn't inspire me to keep reading. So I left it for a while then decided to try a few more of the stories, Heorot by Jim Butcher was a pretty good read; exciting (keep in mind I skim read), roman Holiday or SP-arrrr by Rachel Caine was okay, not amazing and the last one I read was by Lilith Saintcrow; Half of Being Married which is basically a story of a whipped newlywed husband. I'd have rated this one star but Elena and Clay are my favorite Otherworld couple of Kelleys and i automatically like reading anything about them so thats were the second star comes from.

Katie MacAlister & Jim Butler's stories were 5 Stars . . . but the rest of the book was just ok.

Great to read at work... I can be constantly interrupted and never lose the thread fo the plot, since they were all relatively the same. A few stand-out stories in this collection, but mostly just cheesy romance with some paranormal aspects stirred in.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: anthologies and I don't always get along. I've tried many and only a few are good all the way through. Most of the time in the book there will be one or two fab tales, a few good and some stinkers. Same for this one. I know it could be just me and my *meh* of certain styles, but that's the way of it I guess. I listened to all but two of the stories all the way through. Those two just didn't suit me. The rest of the stories were really good though. Loved Jim Butcher's and P.N. Elrod's entries especially. All were honeymoon related, per the title of the anthology, but not all involved the main characters actually on their honeymoon. Some were investigations of missing brides or grooms, one was a couple on a faux honeymoon. Paranormal shenanigans ensued.
I liked it and glad of the different voices narrating each story.
I can recommend this anthology.
