Read for my medieval lit class. Very interesting “finish” and “revision” to de Troye’s “Story of the Grail.”
Wow...this was an experience. Overall, I really truly enjoyed how challenging Parzival proved to be as a text. It made it all the more fun to direct and discuss in class. While I admit I'm not sure I fully understand it after this first reading, I am confident from my professor's assurances that another reading–in due time–will exponentially increase my enjoyment..
I recommend this for those who are interested in medieval literature, though probably not as a first ext. I think that Chretien's Lancelot is a more friendly introduction.

I had to manually add this book, I hope I didn't mess it up :)
This book. It was okay I guess, I had to read it for school this year and that usually leads me to read it in a rush because I have to prep it for exams, so I couldn't fully appreciate it. It's a good book though.
