This is a short story with a very long title. The unfortunately Whateley is writing out the memoirs of Cthulhu, or at least a sort of short, abbreviated version, with some pages missing.

Fun, short take on Cthulhu as interviewed by a human. Captures the flavor of the original, all tongues and heads in cheek.

Not Neil Gaiman's finest work -- it was written back in 1986 -- but an interesting short story from the point of view of dread Cthulhu himself. It can be found here for a free quick online read.

Mildly entertaining, but way too smug for my tastes. I don't mean Cthulhu, exactly. The whole story feels more like a vanity project than something worth publishing, imo. Probably worth reading if you're familiar with most of Lovecraft's oeuvre, but otherwise give it a miss. More shout-outs than substance.
