I am honestly so done with the “harry potter house” trope/theme that I can’t see past it sometimes, but with this story I also didn’t really get a scare factor from the mystery, just annoyance that it wasn’t going faster

Talk about SLOOOOW! I almost DNF’d this book so many times. Third person point of view which isn’t my favorite but it was utterly slow! However 70% in and it picked up and honestly enjoyed the last 20%. I enjoyed April and Sade
