I have to admit, I judged this book by its cover. I was expecting some supernatural/paranormal stories within Asylum, but only found strange 'insights' into the minds of the truly mad.
Despite this, however, I found the book enjoyable enough to purchase the second volume.
I would recommend this book to any interested in the 'dark side' of the mind or the effects of certain treatments in "insane asylums".
