This was such a head trip of a book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's precisely the kind of domestic suspense drama I like, one where you're presented with a certain picture before the layers are carefully peeled back, revealing all the effed up stuff behind the facade. Almost everyone in this book has their own agenda, and they all succeeded at surprising me.

An interesting family drama. I never connected with the characters and figured out the main twists fairly early. That kept it as an average book for me. Not horrible - not great, an entertaining read.

Someone asked me the other day if I had read any good mysteries lately and I said no but I'd let them know when I did. Well I did!
Kieran Scott delivers with her newest domestic suspense novel WISH YOU WERE GONE! With an ending that I didn't see coming, twice!
Emma Walsh is fed up. She's had it with her husband James' drinking, staying out late and bad temper but today was a new low even for him. The argument with their daughter escalating way out of control. Tonight they will talk, except James never shows up. Not till 1:30 in the morning when he crashes his car into the garage leaving her and their son to find him dead. What appears to be a drunken accident soon leads Emma to question what her husband had really been up to and whether it truly was an accident. Did someone kill James and make it look like he did it? With the help of her two closest friends Emma knows she has to find out the truth about her husband and who he really was before she can find out who wanted him dead.
Highly recommend if your up for a page turner!
