great story

While this wasn’t my favorite book by this author, it was still really interesting and intense. The steam level was high, and the action was constant.
I’ll be honest, the dialogue seemed choppy at times, and the story (at least until the end) was by pretty predictable.
I truly enjoyed the book though, and I’m diving into Kai’s story now!

Ivy always had a crash on her boss Gabe but she hid herself from him in the fear of being rejected. Gabe on the other hand was nursing heartbreak from his last relationship. What do you think it will happen??
Once I started reading this book I couldn’t let it down, at times I laughed out loud and when reading some parts I wanted to cry, but on some occasions found the gap between scenes a bit harsh but that’s my opinion.

Ivy is infuriated with her boss, she is tired of seeing him swirling the drain as he gets over his heartbreak. Deciding it is time to let him see the Ivy she really as well as confess her feelings, doesn't have the immediate effect she had hoped.

Gabe doesn't know what to think, but Ivy's wake up call has him a bit befuddled. He had never been attracted to his employee but now he can't seem to stop thinking about her. The main problem is though she has a stalker who is intent on getting her, Gabe pulls his friends in to keep Ivy protected and by his side, but is it enough?

This was a bit of a surprise. I knew it was a boss/employee romance and had a bit of suspense but it was not predictable. Very good read, the chemistry is hot and Gabe has to prove to Ivy she is the one he wants. Great read, checking out more from author.
