Its.... ARGH. well idk. This book made me mad and happy and MAD and now its 12:00 and I finished this book and its... ARGH!!!!! I can't- its so good but it made me so mad but so happy and ARGH!!!!!!
⬇if you read the book or if you want to know why im mad, read this! It is a spoiler but....⬇
Where do I start!!!!!!! Maybe the fact that HALE is GAY? I don't mind that there is a gay person in this book but .. HALE? WHY?!?? HE'S ONE OF MY FAVORITES! WHY???? Also, what about that sudden change in plans. Edylien   absolutely reassures herself that shell Mary kile. And honestly, I was fine with that. But the fact that she just BANS him from the palace. Like what??!?? Why?!!!??? Don't get me wrong, I love Henri. He's amazing. But kile!!!!! I was on team kile and team hale since day one. Now THIS???? the loss is to much too bare. Then I'm like, okay, I actually really like Henri. He's a good dude. But obviously I have to take another twist with then Eric being the one and honestly, I like him. But I had to deal with that!??!! So then I'm actually remembering how much I liked Erik and how I thought he should be chosen. But then. The country. Is COMPLETELY CHANGED. IT HAS CHANGED TO THE CONSTITUTION. WHY. TELL ME. IM NOT ONE OF THE BACKSTREET BOYS BUT TELL ME WHY. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO RUIN THIS FOR MEEEEEE!!!! My heart is breaking yet the epilogue had me crying sooooooo.
but regardless 100000000000⭐ bc honestly? Its a good book if I feel all that.

P.S the only reason I give it 4.75 is bc the end. Not who gets married but. Ya know if u read the book.
The constitution

P.S.S idc if this report makes me sound childish. I have feelings about this book and I'm not afraid to show them.
Also: those peeps who think it should have been
kile y'all I get u I literally was like- what. What the. Why? It was- kile. Kile was meant to be. I can't imagine eadylin with Erik bc its basically throwing all of those wholehearted kisses out of the window. Why. Literally why.
kierra I love u ok. But please. Think abt
kile.

I feel like these Selection spin off novels aren't as loved as the main trilogy. And while I didn't find "The Heir" to be anything exceptional, this finale was! This is my favorite book of the whole series. Eadlyn grew so much as a character. And I was struggling just as much as her to figure out who she would pick.
And when I realized she would chose Erik, I was kicking my feet for the rest of the book!

Honestly I would give this book 3 stars. but because I've loved this series so much I am giving it 4.

This book was kind if a mess, I still loved it and I am very happy with who she picked because he was the one I was rootng for but it just went a bit too fast suddenly.

It was ok. It was really ok. The end has my heart but the rest was just ok.

*SPOILERS*
WHY DID SHE BECOME A QUEEN IN THE MIDDEL OF THE BOOK. I THINK I SCREAMED OUT OF ANGER.

This book was again ok, i ended up liking the main character a bit more by the end but i still wasn’t as endorsed in the story as i would have liked to be.
The selection series to me will always be the ones about America and Mason, there daughter is a brat to me and i see her a bit less of that now but not by much. I wish there would of been a blurb of like 5 years from when they ended the book or something to show us how they and the country are now. I wanted to know if there was a backlash from how she ended the selection.
