Very satisfying ending to the series. All the major threads were neatly tied off and I have no complaints other than that I will miss Edra and Jordan. Excited to read Sean and Troy's story, though!

Gluttony and Other Hungers is the seventh and final book in the Mytho series, and it ends things with a real bang. There's still the usual level of danger and shenanigans, of risk, politics and family issues, as with every other book, but it closes off the Jordan and Edra chapter nicely.

I LOVE that there will be other books in the same world. I already knew about Sean and Troy, but to hear that there will be another spin-off story is awesome. I'm not saying why, or for whom, because that's a secret to enjoy at the end of the book.

As well as continuing the things we already knew about from the previous stories – Jordan learning Dragon, dealing with the aftermath of the last book, and rounding up all the loose-end cases – it also goes deeper into other aspects we've been interested in. We see more of Sean and Troy, learn how ogres and their traditions work, and even see Mason more. There's a resolution to some events I can't discuss, a great moment of glory for Sinner the cat, and the wedding of the century!

I loved how the chemistry and characterisation were so consistent all through this series. Sometimes, I've felt series change the characters slightly, and often not in good ways, as a series that focused on just two MC's expands. This never had that problem, even into the last book. I loved that their relationship was always ebbing and expanding, that they were learning from each other and growing together.

There's a lot I'd like to talk about, but that would spoil some really awesome surprises, but let's just say that I loved the reckoning with Jordan's parents, and finally seeing Carlin the reporter get his comeuppance. I'd have liked to see more of the outcome of that, but I hope it's in Sean and Troy's book. I did feel there were a few places where things were quickly glossed over, that I would have loved to have seen expanded, but that's just me wanting more of Jordan and Edra because I hate to see a great series come to an end no matter how well it's done.

Overall, a fantastic ending to the series. While not all their troubles are over, I feel like they're in a good place as individuals and within their relationship, so they're fully equipped to handle whatever comes their way. I hope every series can finish with as strong an ending as this one had.

I can't believe this series has finished! I've lived it right from the very start. TJ Nichols has created a fantastic, if somewhat tension filled world where two have literally collided and so, all of a sudden, humans and mythos had to learn to live together. With humans being as we are, you can imagine that didn't exactly go the peaceful way we'd all hope.
This is a series to be read in order and now, we are left with the fall out after the bomb that exploded outside of the Mytho Servo, as well as the excitement/worry of Edra and Jordan's upcoming wedding. The first known between a Mytho and a human but now that Mytho's have been legally recognised as people, they hope that the protests and crime/bullying against Mythos will reduce.
This book has quite a bit less intense drama than we've had in previous books as we move forwards, both in the personal and professional lives of Edra and Jordan. They also have a surprise guest or two, not all welcome, at their wedding but it wouldn't be theirs without some kind of ruckus. I especially enjoyed how the series has ended for the couple and hope that we get a glimpse of their future on occasion because it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun/stress.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.
