As the title states, it is a deconstruction of many of McCaffrey's novels, not including the Freedom series or the Acorna series. An extraordinary collection of books, so prolific and popular are broken down and exposed as the environmental and feminist messages they espouse. There are so many interesting tidbits and explanations with examples pointed out by page number. A fascinating book delving into what lies behind a writer's story telling.

An easy read and okay but really Anne was a nice, very talented lady who led a good life and did good things for others but it was not an exciting biography for a reader.

Anne McCaffrey is a cool person. This biography is a bit repetitive but you can tell that every page was written with love.
