Selena Blake is quickly becoming one of my new favorite authors when I'm looking for something light, fun and steamy. At least that's how I'd describe the Mystic Island series! And Games Demons Play has some sadness and drama, mostly because of Izzy's terrible past, but the fun and sexiness that seems I-mate to the island shines through to keep smiles on Izzy and Shade's faces. I can't wait for the next two that will give us Avery and V' s stories!!

OMG - a short but hot read.

Izzy is a fresh out of the packet Vampire. She is a toddler in Vampire years! She was saved from a bloody death by being turned. A former neglected child of a wealthy Russian family, she became a wild child and the life eventually caught up with her.

On an impulse she decides to take her laundry to town in her friends car...which just happens to be a Bugatti Veyron. Her little devil whispers in her ear that the Autobahn is nearby and she goes roaring away. But when she has an accident, she awakens and she panics at the damage she has caused. She is in soooooooooo much trouble.

Shade, a demon, rescues her and recognises her as a vamp and takes her to the safety of his home. Shade is sex on a stick and cocky with it! When Izzy states she has to win the money herself to pay for the damage to the car, she gets help to get to Mystic Isle to win the money at poker.

Little does she know that the tournament has an added draw of the unbeatable player. Guess who????

Izzy is fabulously naive and sexy at the same time. Shade is marvellous as the unbeatable demon with a heart of gold. I need to get the rest of this series!
