Good!!

I saw an ad for this on FB and thought it sounded good - I’m glad I took the chance. Normally I like a bit more slow burn to my RH, but this is well done. There’s instant attraction, but definitely not Insta love. There ARE questions between them, and how the heck does Zac fit in? WHY is he there? It’s all very interesting and incredibly fast paced. From page 3, this MOVED.

Amazing read! You wont be able to put it down!

Emergence is one amazing book. The mc is one bada$$ vampire. She is hell bent on getting vengeance for her mothers death. Then she meets zac and he leaves me with so many unanswered questions. They set off on an adventure to find and save the first member of her harem. Once she finds ashe they have instant hot chemistry. The second member of her harem is briefly introduced and he is a very interesting character. Mysti and Lindsey are truly amazing writers. I cannot wait for the next book. Grab a copy you won't be able to put it down.

This book was so much fun. Wren is a vampire and she has been hunting down each person who killed her mother. That's where she meets a human who wants to help and he tells her that there are other vampires out there... oh and you know that her mother was the queen. NBD. She also finds the first of her mates, Ashe. I liked him! I mean he had a few bad moments but I think they were all pretty understandable.

I am very excited that each of her mates is the main character of each book. I am looking forward to getting to know Charles!

Wren is such a strong character in perseverance, personality and presence. This is a very intriguing read that is filled with mystery and secrets. There are still several unanswered questions and I cannot wait for the nest books to not only get those answers but to continue Wren's story. This story is packed with many emotions ranging from love, loss, hate, pain, grief and so much more. The emotions were portrayed so well it is very easy to feel with Wren. This is a very beautiful story.

I am voluntarily leaving a honest, unbiased review.

This was an interesting read. It took me a bit to get into it, but once I did, it was very good! Wren watched her mother get murdered at age 8, and since then all she’s done is survive, and do whatever it takes to find and kill her mothers killers. Then she meets a detective who claims he can help her in her quest, and then takes her to a jail to break out Ashe - a vampire who was framed for murder. Turns out he’s one of her mates. She has 5 fated mates who all seem to be connected by mysterious tattoos that appear on their arms when they meet. Things are about to get interesting... There’s plenty of action and mystery in this book. Wren raised herself since her mothers death, so she doesn’t know anything about the vampire world, so we learn about it as she does. Turns out Wren’s mom was a vampire queen whose throne was usurped by her sister. There’s a lot of unanswered questions, but I’m sure they’ll continue to be answered in the next few books.

I received an ARC from the authors and I’m voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. It's not particularly deep and I was expecting the heroine to meet all of her mates here, but it looks like it will be one per book. Despite that, I laughed several times, thought the writing sharp, and I liked the characters. Plus, the narrator did an excellent job, which always contributes. I've borrowed the rest of the series through Amazon Prime now. We'll see if I like them as much when reading them, instead of listening.

Wren has been going around the country playing gigs whilst catching up and killing the men who killed her mother.
One night she is approached by Zack a detective who tells her he has a new lead she takes off with him tentatively.
He tells her they have to break Ashe out of a high security vampire prison where’s he been framed for crimes against the Souther Vampire Clan. Wren notices she has a 5 pointed star on her wrist that starts to tingle the nearer she gets to Ashe and whilst Ashe is waiting for his fate the same sign appears on his wrist.
Zack informs her she has to connect with her 5 mates and that she is the rightful Vampire Queen and her mother was killed in a power play to take over the throne by her aunt who is still on the throne . They have to keep ahead of enemies out to kill them and a bounty hunter who’s just out for the money she will bring that is until he lets her go but she doesn’t want to face the reason why he did that.
Wren is such a headstrong but likeable FMC and her interactions with Zack made me think he might be one of her consorts but he’s not a Vampire , her interactions with Ashe are explosive from the start and the sexual tension just jumps out at you.

This was an adventure filled ride from the first word to the last. Wren is a delight, Ashe is fantastic and Zac is a mystery, wrapped in an enigma. It'll make you hot, it'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry and it may even make you want to wring a few necks. It'll leave you desiring the release of book 2.

Good start

You kind of get to know the characters. Just enough to make them interesting. Tons of action. Hoping the next book gets deeper into the characters.
