Saint is such a great character. I loved getting more of his backstory and seeing Fable's mom on this book. I really enjoyed all the characters and found the plot enjoyable. The writing was really easy to get into, and it is a fast and fun read.

I was expecting this to be more of Saint’s backstory in general rather than just the few weeks where he met Isolde. It felt like it ended abruptly and not much had happened.

So this is the 2nd book by this author I have read and I think I can say they aren't for me.
I havent read Fable or any books connected to this one. I feel like this isn't a standalone within a series as I felt lost listening to the story. I felt bored listening to this book and my mind was wondering while listening. I had to literally force myself to listen. 
I was hoping for a captivating sea adventure (something I don't read often) with some romance thrown in. But that wasn't what I got at all. 
I think I will cut my ties with this author and wont be reading anymore of her books.
