This fun spin on 'aliens need brides' includes a widower king attempting to justify a 'love match' in a society where it's unheard of and a smart, compassionate caseworker seeking a partner who isn't a control freak. There a some super fun moments of confusion when cultures clash as well as a some suspense and smexy times. 4.5 stars rounded to 5 because both MCs are over 40. And, King Kyzel has wings.

I didn't really like this... it didn't ring true for me ( yeah, yeah... I know, he's an alien king with wings... ). I just didn't 'feel' it...

Harmless and non-offensive but full of cliches and very simplistically told. Didn't hate it but got bored fairly early in and found myself skimming.
