An extended version of the interview on the tv show. Fun. Only for fans of The Boys

Quick callout, this is not really a story, but rather presented as if an episode of a podcast set within the Boys universe. It goes by quick, gives a little bit of insight into The Deep's story, and is well-narrated. There's nothing groundbreaking going on, but if you're a fan of The Boys, this is a fun listen.

An enjoyable enough listen, though I'm not sure it ever really does enough to merit it's existence. We don't really get much insight into the Deep or any of the characters that we didn't already know. While I got a few silent chuckles, it wasnt laugh out loud funny by any means. The Boys is known for its biting satire, it's irreverent comedy, and clever writing and this doesn't really have much of that at all. What it is is a simple podcast set in the world to just give you more of a couple characters you probably enjoy from the show, and it succeeds there.

It’s just more establishment of The Deep being a douchebag, and I feel that’s pretty well established.

This was one of the cringiest “podcasts” I’ve ever listened to, and reminded me why I love The Boys so much. Not only does it stay true to the character of The Deep with a great performance, but it provides all the satire and complexity that makes the show such a one of a kind experience. Definitely worth a listen if you love the series.

An excellent media tie-in, I genuinely felt like I had somehow entered into the Vought universe and now I need a cold shower.
But this gets across the (really slow) character development and growth that The Deep has made between s1 and s3 (when this was released) really well, and works as a great little listen while waiting for a new season.
The voice acting is incredible as well, very glad we don’t have Voughtify though!

The performances were spectacular and the cringe comedy was pretty funny and it made for a great satire of men going onto podcasts to "redeem" themselves after committing SA. However, even though the satire was great it still felt like a famous dude trying to clear his name on a podcast and it was kinda hard to listen to.
