Something about this one didn't speak to me. Besides the holes in the story-Georgiana's issues, which aren't really dealt with and no one loses it when Lady M pulls a Lady C and suggests -in the middle of the entryway- that Darcy should have set Elizabeth up as a mistress instead!
It was kind of dull and not plot driven. E gets upset because she thinks D is disappointed in her so they don't speak for 2 weeks.
Col. F was once again a well written, sympathetic character.

This was a fairly entertaining book with many misunderstandings on the part of both Elizabeth and Darcy. However my main grievance came from the fact that Elizabeth was very out of character. Even the unusual portrayal of Georgiana was not so disconcerting as Elizabeth.

The Darcys' first Christmas approaches when the disapproving Matlocks make an unexpected and unwelcome early visit. Though the Colonel is always welcome. Can Elizabeth overcome her insecurities, can Darcy recognise his faults.
An engaging story.
